In the days following the Civil War, the only thing that stands between ruthless outlaws and justice in the Old West is the courageous Texas Rangers. On a mission to rid the land of the vicious Cavendish Gang, a small band of Rangers is double-crossed, ambushed and slaughtered. One lawman survives with the help of a long-lost friend. Alongside the graves of his brother and the other murdered Rangers, the only survivor of the treacherous attack buries his true identity and dons a black mask, vowing to bring law and order back to the untamed frontier.
