This delightful musical adaptation of the classic children’s book by Charles Tazewell tells the story of Michael, a shepherd boy who suffers a fatal fall while climbing a cliff. The is assigned the task of showing Michael the joys of Heaven, but the boy remains unhappy. He briefly returns to Earth for his old wooden “treasure” box and arrives back in Heaven on the night of the Christ child’s birth. While all the other angels present beautiful gifts to the newborn Messiah, the littlest angel has only one possession to offer.
