09 Jun Parental Controls Gives You Flix-ibility!

FlixFling has always been known to have controversial, boundary-pushing content, such as A Serbian Film and They All Must Die! As well, we offer titles that are best viewed late at night, if you catch my drift. That’s why we have our now new and improved Parental Control options to best suit any FlixFling user, from the kiddies watching Escape From Planet Earth to those enjoying Cannibal Holocaust on a rainy Friday night.

Not only do our titles retain their MPAA rating (G, PG, PG-13, R), they also are assigned a custom FlixFling rating (FF-G, FF-PG, FF-17, FF-MA). This categorizes our movies and shows into age-appropriate categories, in which every user can determine what fits their movie-watching experience best.

If you have young children and don’t want them exposed to our more controversial content, select the FF-G or FF-PG option to filter appropriate content to your page. If you’re looking for R-rated titles, but aren’t interested in the “Late Night” section of our page, select FF-17. Finally, if you’re a user looking for the entire FlixFling experience, choose our FF-MA option.

FlixFling is the most flexible service around, providing options to completely customize the user experience. From Subscription to On Demand, FrightFlix to KidsFlix, and now from G-rated content to the most extreme mature titles, our customers make the FlixFling experience their own.

To customize your parental controls, sign in and go to My Account in the top-right corner of your screen. On the left-hand side of your screen, you should see the Parental Controls section. Create a 4-digit pin, authenticate it, and then select the appropriate control option. See the screenshots below for more details.
