Yarra Burn Vineyard: Yarra Burn was established in 1975 by David and Christine Fyffe. The winery is located sixty kilometers north of Melbourne. Yarra Burn is nestled below Mount Donnabuang in the Warburton Ranges, and the vines benefit from cool breezes that sweep over the mountains. The climatic conditions are similar to those of Burgundy, so cool climate varieties excel here. The near by Hoddles Creek Vineyard is extremely steep and the pickers have nicknamed it Bastard Hill. Sophisticated trellis systems for canopy management all ensure that the grapes being produced are of the highest quality. That combined with the expertise and passion of the winemaking team, ensure fruit is crafted into premium wines of distinctive flair and flavour. Hoddles Creek is all about producing premium wines. Winemaking and viticulture techniques are constantly being reviewed and improved.
