In the tradition of Sunshine, Miracle tells the story of Peter, a young Jewish Hungarian who grew up with his grandmother and her secret in Budapest. The family owned a valuable book-collection, which was confiscated by the Nazi’s; among them a book of magic his grandmother talked about every day until she died. Peter, now a bookseller, becomes obsessed with finding the book. When he locates a young girl who has the book he is faced with a new dilemma. In the process of stealing the book, he has fallen in love.
