While vacationing in Rome, bubbly American actress Anita meets and falls in love with handsome Italian banker Guido who’s on his way to visit his ailing father. Unaware that Guido is a married man, Anita accepts his invitation to accompany him on the trip, and their romantic adventure soon turns into a series of comedic disasters.
