Michael is a college student struggling to make his mark on the world. As a boy he dreamed of playing college football and grew up watching college teams go through their drills near his small-town home. Now in college he toils at the bottom of the football chart barely getting a chance to play. Coming from a military family Michael is under great pressure to succeed, then Michael meets Brenda. He falls in love and unexpectedly finds someone who can help him stand up to his father’s expectations and perhaps see the world beyond the football dreams of his childhood.
