Logan Purcell and his band of raiders have been stealing any and everything from the peaceful Indian settlements living on the Cimarron Strip. After coming to Marshal Crown for help, Willie Snake is ruthlessly shot down by Purcell. Hot on their trail, Crown tracks down the raiders and engages in a heated exchange of gunfire. During the exchange, Purcell shoots Crown and then escapes. The marshal is later discovered by a young white woman named Heller. As she helps nurse Crown back to health, she also begins to realize she is falling for him.
