In this poignant TV drama, Michael Learned portrays Zoe Jensen, a divorced woman who moves to a new city in an attempt to rebuild her life. She begins by joining the local church choir directed by a stern but gifted choirmaster. Zoe clashes with the unsparing man, but soon finds friendship within the group, and discovers she is not the only one with difficulties to overcome.
