Longboarding soul-surfer Steve Addington (Matthew McConaughey of FOOL’S GOLD, GHOST OF GIRLFRIENDS PAST) returns to Malibu for the summer to find his cool hometown vibe corrupted. New sponsorship demands Addington expand into video games and reality TV. But the digital nonsense harshes his mellow, so he chooses to spend the summer surfing his home break. In a twist of fate, the waves go flat. Now out of money, his expense accounts cancelled, Addington is seriously bummed. But a true surfer has heart, and Addington is about to prove that loving what you do is what it’s all about.
