Susan Davies (Cloris Leachman) thought jury duty was going to be simple enough, until she is assigned to a murder trial. During the trial, she comes to believe that the defendant (Nick Nolte) has been falsely accused. Worse, the more she learns about the case, the more she comes to realize that the real killer may have been her own husband.
