A mysterious ship enters a New York harbor with no signs of life on board. Led by Colonel Stella Holmes and NYPD Lieutenant Tony Aris, a team of scientists and police are called in to investigate. They discover the grisly remains of the ship’s crew along with a cargo of unusual egg-like objects. A researcher on the ship mistakenly handles one of the large slimy green eggs and soon experiences the horrifying and deadly results. The objects are further analyzed, and it is revealed they are actually alien pods containing a toxic bacterium that causes human flesh to explode on contact. Holmes and Aris seek out former astronaut Commander Ian Hubbard to help find the source of the eggs and stop the conspiracy that is behind the spread of the lethal spores!
