Celebrate Mother Nature with FlixFling!

Today, April 22, 2015, marks the 45th anniversary of Earth Day and FlixFling could not be more thrilled to celebrate by shedding light on movies that help create awareness!

Watch the inspiring documentary Femme Women Healing the World that celebrates women around the world actively transforming and healing our global society. Topics such as religion, science, history, politics, and entertainment are discussed among influential women as they focus on solutions to inspire new hope for the future. Also featured on FlixFling for Earth Day is Blackfish, the controversial story of the orca whale Tilikum that killed three people while in captivity. This documentary uses shocking footage and emotional interviews to present a convincing case against keeping these wild animals for human entertainment. Mother Nature is something we should learn to appreciate; therefore we have recommended the documentary narrated by Morgan Freeman, Island of Lemurs: Madagascar. This film takes you on a spectacular journey through the obscure and fascinating world of Madagascar with the adorable, yet highly endangered species, lemurs.

All three of these documentaries are available now on FlixFling and we encourage you to watch them in hopes of becoming more educated on different issues around the world.
